After successfully created your business account, please follow these steps to help you get started quickly and better implementation of HUB in your organization. You can start using HUB with pre-set commonly used settings. However, HUB allows you to customize it as per your organization’s workflow and processes.

Follow the below steps to Getting Started with Redbracket HUB:

1. Customize Profile Settings.

Manage company profile and provide basic information like company logo, company name, established year, staff strength, turnover, company description, address, service locations and submit ID proof.
Set your Time zone in user specific settings to avoid data ambiguity.

2. Create Internal Team Members.

Create your internal team members first in Contact module. Create internal user by selecting 'Create Internal Member' button, if the user is not registered on Redbracket platform. You can add existing user as internal member if they are already registered on Redbracket and not associated with any account by using ‘Invite’ button.
If you wish to assign tasks and share your files to external members like consultants and clients then you just need to invite them in contacts module using ‘Invite’ option in Contact module. For adding them they need to be already registered on Redbracket.

3. Customize Module Wise Settings.

In module wise settings, there are some system defined item types and status. For example, a project type is 'Residential', while a file type is 'Architectural'. Also a project can have status as ‘Active’, “On Hold”, ‘Completed’ and a file can have status as ‘Schematic’, ‘Co-ordinated’, ‘Released’, ‘GFC’ etc.
Customize your own item types and status in Settings menu option available under user menu. Only admin users have the permission to manage these settings. You can set up type and status for files, tasks, deliverables and projects.
Set your company holidays and weekly offs in timesheets settings for accurate timesheet reports. System will consider all days except all weekly offs and holidays as working days.

4. Create Project.

Now create projects and add internal and external team members in project team with their specific roles. The team members will have access to the project data as per their role. The same user can have different role in different project.

In project overview tab, create phases which help you manage the project better by grouping tasks and tracking the progress more efficiently. You can create phases based on the life cycle of the project or simple grouping of tasks. You can create phases like 'Concept', ‘Design’, 'Execution', etc. Note that phases are not mandatory. In Brief + requirements tab, add all client requirements in detail. HUB creates different versions of this information when you edit it.

5. Add tasks, files and deliverables.

Now divide your work by creating tasks with specific phase and assign them to the team members. You may set estimated hours for each task and get user performance reports. Create folder structure the way you want and add files and collection into it.

6. Configure security by enabling Access policy.

HUB gives you facility to control its’ access by user and IP address. Enable access policy and give access of your system by setting specific ip address location for each and every member of your company and keep your data secured.

7. Create new project roles and permission.

By default, HUB provides three project roles like Project Manager, Internal Member and External Member. Create new roles if you wish to create your own set of permissions. This role decides that what a particular user can see, add, edit and delete inside a project.
